UroLact

UroLact is an oral urological probiotic that supports and restores the proper functioning of the urinary system. UroLact contains a composition of three live strains of probiotic bacteria – Lactobacillus rhamnosus PL1, Lactobacillus plantarum PM1 and Lactobacillus reuteri 5454. These bacteria have a positive effect on the microbiota of the urinary tract, thanks to their ability to inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria and yeast-like fungi, which are the most common cause of urogenital tract infections. UroLact is used not only for recurrent urinary tract infections, but also for their prevention.

Indications:

in disorders of the bacterial flora of the urinary tract (including recurrent urinary tract infections)
before and after medical procedures in the urinary system
in the prevention of UTIs – for people attending swimming pools, gyms, jacuzzi, and frequent travelers

Action:

Probiotic bacteria of the Lactobacillus genus present in the UroLact are part of the normal microbiota of the gastrointestinal tract. They also have a natural ability to move along the digestive tract to the rectum and anus, from where they migrate to the urethra and vaginal opening.
Thanks to the high ability to colonize the urinary tract epithelium and displace pathogenic microorganisms present there, the bacterial strains contained in the UroLact preparation support the proper functioning of the urinary system.

In vitro tests have confirmed a number of beneficial properties of the Lactobacillus strains present in the UroLact:

inhibition of the growth of bacteria that are the most common cause of recurrent urinary tract infections: Escherichia coli (the etiological agent of 80–90% of first-time urinary tract infections), Klebsiella pneumoniae, Enterococcus faecalis, Streptococcus agalactiae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa
inhibiting the growth of pathogenic fungi of the Candida genus causing candidiasis of the urogenital tract
resistance to hydrochloric acid and bile salts, which allows survival of passage (movement) through the stomach and intestine
strong adherence (adhesion) to the epithelial cells of the intestine, anus, urethra and vagina

Composition:

• Lactobacillus rhamnosus PL1

• Lactobacillus plantarum PM1

• Lactobacillus reuteri 5454

• Inulin from chicory root

• L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C)

Packaging:

10 sachets of 2 g; total net weight 20 g.

30 sachets of 2 g; total net weight 60 g.

Instructions for use:

children from 3 years of age: 1 sachet once a day
adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 capsule 1 – 2 times a day

Dissolve the contents of the sachet in a small amount of lukewarm water (approx. 100 ml), wait a few minutes, mix carefully and drink.

UroLact® is best consumed during a meal (this ensures higher survival of the bacteria contained in the preparation).

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Duration of use – To maintain the proper balance of the urinary tract microbiota, UroLact should be used for no less than 10 days.
