Rectal ointment

Proktis-M Plus in the form of an ointment is a preparation intended for proctological patients for whom the application of suppositories causes discomfort or is associated with additional pain. The ointment with a special applicator facilitating its application supports the treatment of proctological diseases – from minor inflammations, through hemorrhoidal disease and anal fissures, to postoperative regeneration. The preparation accelerates and restores the natural healing process, regenerates the anal mucosa, relieves the symptoms accompanying proctological diseases: swelling, pain, burning, itching around the anus. In addition to hyaluronic acid, it also contains polidocanol, which has an anesthetic and analgesic effect.

Indications:

in anal fissures and cracks
in hemorrhoidal disease with internal and external hemorrhoids
in inflammation of the anus and rectum
after proctological treatments and surgeries
in cryptitis and perianal fistulas
supporting the treatment process of regeneration of the mucous membrane of the anal canal and rectum
in oncological diseases (after radio and chemotherapy)

Action:

Proktis-M Plus ointment is highly effective in the process of wound healing and regeneration of the mucous membrane in the anal canal and rectum thanks to the synergistic effect of hyaluronic acid and polidocanol. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in our body. Thanks to its properties, it creates a protective “biofilm” in the area of tissue damage, activating the processes of tissue regeneration, healing and repair. It plays an important role in every stage of wound healing – from the inflammatory phase, through proliferation, to reconstruction. The polidocanol contained in the ointment guarantees reduction of pain.

Composition:

• Hyaluronic acid sodium salt

• Laureth 9 (Polidocanol)

• White vaseline and vaseline oil

• Escin-beta-sitosterol phytosome

• Glycyrrhetinic acid phytosome

Packaging:

30 g tube with a rectal applicator.

Instructions for use:

The ointment should be used twice a day – in the morning and in the evening, preferably after a bowel movement. For rectal use, use the appropriate applicator included in the package.
